v0.0.0.64 - GFX & Music update


We have some new tiles! The talented Alex Voelk (alexvoelk.de) has designed some initial tiles to give the game some much needed graphical improvement.  Just a few initial structure tiles, but a vast improvement over my efforts.  Whilst talking about gfx, ive added some shader tests to the title and credits pages, just playing around with these at the moment, may add to the game, to give some more background variety. 

We now have some music from Gravity Sound (gravitysound.studio). I've had these two tracks in mind for a while now, they fit the game quite well. Will be looking for some more to add, as will probably want more tracks during play.

And a couple of smaller fixes/changes:-

  • Repairs now have a metal cost, cheaper than replacement though.
  • Balancing o2 pumping/venting.
  • Another storage bug fixed (argh!), refunds werent calculated correctly.

Next up - Time controls, further damage/maintenance additions, also thinking about adding some game mechanics (rogue meteroids, causing hull damage, and maybe items to help prevent that).
